DISCIPLES OF CHRIST (CHRISTIAN)  Rev. G. M. Dickerson supplied this information to John N. Harman, Sr., author of  Annals.

  • KING'S CHAPEL,  in Tazewell Co., VA.  W. H. Taylor, Pastor, from Durham, North Carolina. Charles D. Harman and Oscar Hedrick, Trustees;  Samuel R. Thompson and Joseph Morris, Deacons;  Pastor of  Note:  Rev. G. M. Dickerson, who baptized over one hundred persons who took membership in this church, served as pastor for eleven years in succession and then again for two years.

  • MOUNT OLIVE, on Mud Fork in 1922.  G. M. Dickerson, Pastor;  Charles A. Taylor and Edward Burton, deacons;  Five of the former members of this church became ministers in active service and have been instrumental in bringing thousands to Christ.  The aggregate years of service performed by these ministers total one hundred and twenty years, the age of Moses.

  • TIP TOP CHURCH in 1922.  Inactive.  Former members left for Bluefield, WV, and other places.

  • EAST GRAHAM CHURCH, in 1922.  W. H. Taylor, Pastor, from Durham, North Carolina;  Robert Thompson, George Holly, and James Adton, trustees;  George Holly, Samuel Hairston and Floyd Dickerson, elders;  Robert Thompson, Albert Owen, George Richardson,  and Charles W. Price, deacons
