James Henry Bird was born 3/29/1849 in Walker Creek Bland Co., VA and died 11/1/1941 in Bastian, Va.  He married Mary Jane Corder July 29, 1869.  She was born 7/2/1851, and died Sept. 29, 1931 in Rocky Gap, VA where she was with her daughter, Luna Bird French, when she died.

2.  S. Arthur Bird, b. 7/11/1875
3.  L. Tony (or Toney) Bird, b. 7/8/1876, Rocky Gap, VA
4.  John Hogue Bird, b. 4/11/1878, d. 11/22/1928
5.  S. Gertie Bird, b. 8/30/1880, d 9/14/1902; married an Unknown first name Hearthington
6.  Charles Henry Bird, b. 2/11/1892, Rocky Gap, VA Bland, VA d. 8/26/1968.  Married Sally Hogue/Hagg Wall.
7.  Stella Bird, adopted child.

L. Toney Bird (is son of James Henry Bird and Mary J. Corder,) he was born July 8, 1876 in Rocky Gap, Va.  He married Elizabeth Boone August 23, 1888.  She was born July 23, 1867, in Minford, Ohio.

The children of L. Tony (Toney) Bird and Elizabeth Boone are:

2.  Benjamin Toney Bird
3.  William Henry Bird, b. May 2, 1889, Rocky Gap, VA; d. May 9, 1950, Glammorgan, VA (this is my Grandfather)

6.  John Henry or Harvey Bird, b. June 15, 1897
7.  Walter Toney Bird, b. Nov. 11, 1900
