- A son was born to Dr. and Mrs. E.F. Jessee of
Richmond, Va on Monday, March 14 in the Richmond Medical hospital.
Mrs. Jessee is the former Miss Sara Cooper May, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. S.D. May of Tazewell. The baby has been named Edgar Forrest
Jessee Jr.
- A son was born to Mr. and Mrs. R.H. Cecil on
Sunday, March 20th in the Bluefield sanitarium. Mrs. Cecil is the
former Miss Beatrice Fletcher, of Bishop. The baby has been named Samuel
Wesley Cecil. The Cecils have one other child, a daughter, Dreyan.
- Born to Mr. and Mrs. A.H. Morrison Jr., a
daughter, Saturday, March 19 at Bluefield sanitarium. Sandra Louise is the
name of the young lady, whose mother was the former Mildred Moore.
- A daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. Jay Vance
on Friday, March 18th. Mrs. Vance is the former Miss Louise Wilson,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E.W Wilson. The baby has been named Phyllis
Jean.
