Robert Paul Maxwell of Bluefield Va. died Saturday morning at his home.  He was born May 24, 1889 at Maxwell, Tazewell Co., and was the son of John R. and Mary Sue Maxwell.  Mr. Maxwell had been employed for forty years as carpenter on the bridge force of the Norfolk and Western Railway.  He retired in 1953.  Funeral services were held on Monday from Dudley Memorial chapel in Bluefield.  He is survived by his wife; a son Marvin Maxwell of Seamon, Ohio; a brother, H. H. Maxwell of Clinton, Tennessee, and two sisters, Mrs. J.S. Hoops of Bluefield, and Mrs. P.T. Thompson of Bluefield.
