Pounding Mill, July 21
John Paris Robinette died at his home here Sunday, July 15. He was
born Feb. 1, 1860. Funeral Sunday at Union Church, conducted by Rev.
Geo. E. Owen Sr., assisted by Geo E. Owen Jr. He had been a
member of the Christian church since boyhood. Married Miss Caroline E.
Moore, 50 years ago, Jan 26th. He leaves two sons, C. H. and E. T. of
this place. A daughter preceded him 19 years ago. He also leaves two
brothers, Eli, and Henry, of this place, and half brother, W. C. Robinette
of Berwind WV., and 8 grandchildren. He was a son of the late Louis and
Anna Ringstaff. Interment was made in Ringstaff cemetery near by.
