	Miss Arlice Ellen Tanner, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R.H. Tanner, of Springville and Mr. Hubert Scott, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Scott, of Pocahontas, were married on November 15. The double ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. W. E. Jelf, pastor of the North Tazewell Methodist Church. Miss Ina Lois Tanner, sister of the bride, served as bridesmaid and Mr. Robert Shropshire, cousin of the bridegroom, as best man. Mrs. Scott was employed by Armour and company and Mr. Scott by the Pocahontas Coal company at Jenkinjones.
