Coming as a complete surprise to their many friends was the marriage of Miss Grace June Turner to Mr. George William Phillips, which took place at North Tazewell, on Monday Sept. 16th. The ceremony was performed by Rev. H.A. Phillips. Mrs. Phillips is the attractive daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W.M. Turner of Cliffield. For the ceremony the bride was attired in a blue suit, with accessories to match. Mr. Phillips is the son of Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Phillips, of Pounding Mill. Mr. and Mrs. Phillips were accompanied by the bride's sister, Miss Thelma Turner, and W.H. Phillips of Bristol. The many friends of Mr. and Mrs. Phillips wish for them much happiness and success. |
