Pictured from left to right: Unidentified girl, could be a related family member, Nettie Clara Mathena, born April 6, 1884, Tazewell County, VA, holding a baby son, Raleigh Lee, Jr., born May 26, 1911; son, Elmer Nephi, (standing between Nettie and Raleigh,Sr.), born May 3, 1909: Raleigh Lee, Mathena, Sr. born July 25, 1882, Tazewell County, VA; daughter, Susie Orca, born June 2, 1907 and son, Amos Hicks, born November 5, 1903. Raleigh and Nettie had nine other children that were born in Utah beginning in May 1913. "Heading West" was handwritten on the back of this photograph.
